A MATRIMONIAL NOVELTY.
A young lady recently invented a new fashion for weddings that may lie taken up by members of the fair sex who are crowded with engagements. Unable to appear at her friend's wedding, she had her photograph specially taken for the occasion, and this portrait, with appropriate good wishes, greeted the bride on the morning of the eventful day. This should lie taken up by New Zealanders especially, who have friends in ever)- quarter of the globe, and cannot lie present in every place where they are wanted.
