Plunket Nurses' Association
Open meetings of the Dunedin Plunket Nurses 1 Association were held during July and August. The July meeting took place at Katitane-Harris Hospital, and there was a large attendance of active and associate members. Miss E. A. ( )'Shea. of the Child Welfare Department, gave a most interesting address on the work of her department. Afterwards supper and talk and music concluded a successful evening. The August meeting was held at the Medical School, where Miss Airene Pope,
of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, gave a most interesting and enlightening lecture on "Vitamines." Miss Pope illustrated her address with numerous lantern slides, many showing the results of her oavii work ; she also displayed a number of rats on which she is carry out experimental work in this subject.
All members were most grateful to Miss O'Shea and Miss Pope for the time and trouble taken on their behalf.
