Write out in detail a diet scale for twentyfour hours in cases of — (a.) Enteric fever during the second week in the case of an adult male. (b.) Gastric ulcer with haematemesis in a girl twenty (20) years of age. (c.) Chronic valvular disease of i the heart in an old woman. 6. Describe fully the precautions you would take to prevent the spread of infection in a case of scarlet-fever. Describe also the symptoms of the case, and the treatment used to relieve them.
