The Interstate Medical Journal says Nobecourt and Merklen (Revs. Mens des Mai de UEnf.) have studied a series of cases to determine she normal temperature curve m nurslings. They find that the infant eloes not present the line of variation commonly seen m the adult, even m health.
The infant has a monotherinal temperature, with little variation m the morning and evening. This monotherinal temperature is constantly found m normal infants at least up to the fifth month m life. Interference with this regular line betokens always a pathological condition.
