Missing Friends.
Widow Connoe, Shakes pear road, Napier, makes anxious enquiry for her son Daniel Connor, a carpenter by trade, from whom she last heard from Timaru, about three years ago. He is reported to have left Simpson’s boarding house, Great North Boad, Timaru, about" eight months ago, for Christchurch, but no trace can be obtained of him, no description is given of him. Information to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Christchurch.
John Miles, 29 years, sft. 6in., stout build, light hair, very light beard and moustache, dressed in grey coat, and black Yankee hat, a sawyer, lately working for Messrs. Saxton and Williams, Bobinson’s Bay, Akaroa. Was to have been married at St. John’s Church at 10 a.m. 16th ultimo. At 9 a.m. he left the house where he lodged at Christchurch taking his things with him, and has not been seen since. Information to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Christchurch.
