FREE PARDON TO AN ACCOMPLICE.

JVTOTICE. —Whereas it is supposed that the premises known as “ The Press Company’s Office,” Cashel Street West, Christchurch, were set on fire on Sunday, the sth day of April last past, between the hours of 3 and 5 p.m., by the act of incendiaries :

This is to notify that His Excellency the Governor will grant a free pardon to any person implicated in the said act, not being a principal olfender, who shall give such information as will lead to the apprehension and conviction of any one or more of the other offenders.

The Provincial Government offer a reward of £2OO for such informal ion as will lead to the conviction of the person who caused the above fire.
