Information is requested of Mary Ann Kermond, daughter of John Kermond, blacksmith, formerly of Belfast, and Catherine Kermond. Her father having received a sentence of five years for breach of the peace, her mother being consequently in necessitous circumstances, parted with her in 1856, to one Charles Baptist, alias Tapples, then living at Mortimer’s Creek, Hood’s Station. The child was afterwards reported to have left him, owing to ill usage, and to have lived with a family named Savage. Her present age is 19, light hair, round features, dimpled cheeks.—2lst April, 1870.

He is aged 25 years, medium build, about 5 feet 6 inches high, brown hair, grey eyes, prominent eyebrows, thin beard, whiskers and moustache, pale complexion, stain of brownish colour right side of face ; respectful demeanour, voice subdued and hesitating; his linen marked with C.A. or C.T.A. When last seen was in company with a young man about his own age, in the neighbourhood of Denmark street, Coldharbor Lane, Camberwell.
