Stolen, on the night of the 12th ult, from a clothesline at the rear of the dwelling of R. J- Pierce, Market Place, Christchurch, an Unbleached Linen Tablecloth, with hole in one corner ; a Pair of Brown Worsted Socks, and a Coloured Silk Pockethandkerchief. The tablecloth only identifiable.

Stolen, from the dwelling of Mrs. Armitage, Winchester street, Lyttelton, on the 19th ult., a White Blanket and a White and Blue Counterpane. A person described as under, who had been lodging at Mrs. Armitage’s Boarding House, is suspected of the theft; she left per S.S. Maori for the South on the same date: —Mrs. Bartley, an Englishwoman, 35 years of age, 5 feet high, fresh complexion, brown hair, front teeth false, far advanced in pregnancy, dressed in brown wincey dress, green and black under-jacket, and grey walking-jacket.

Stolin, on the night of the 21st ult., from a paddock on the Moeraki Downs, a Wooden Paling Grate, 5 feet 6 inches high, 4 feet 6 inches wide, large iron hinges, one of the palings broken, the property of William Crysell.
