Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives Wednesday* the 16th Day of July, 1947 Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of nine members, to consider all Bills or other matters relating to labour which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Chapman, the Hon. Mr. Hackett, Mr. McAlpine, Mr. Marshall, Mr. Mathison, Mr. T. E. Skinner, Mr. Sheat, Mr. Sullivan, and the Mover."—(Hon. Mr. McLagan.) Ordered, " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1946 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred .to during the said session."—(Right Hon. Mr. Fraser.) Wednesday, the 30th Day of July, 1947 Ordered, " That the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill be referred to the Labour Bills Committee."—(Hon. Mr. McLagan.) Wednesday, the 29th Day of October, 1947 Ordered, " That the Workers' Compensation Amendment Bill be referred to the Labour Bills Committee." —(Right Hon. Mr. Eraser, for the Hon. Mr. McLagan.)
