(a) To provide a subsidy of three to one on urgent repair work required to stopbanks on the Hauraki Gulf foreshore. A credit-in-aid of £400 will be received. (b) To provide a subsidy of three to one on urgent repair work required to stopbanks on the right bank of the Piako River. A credit:-in-aid of £125 will be received. (c) This sum is required for the purchase from the Native owners of three small islands lying between Kapiti Island and the mainland as an addition to the bird sanctuary.
