GENERAL REVIEW. Discharged Soldiers Settlement Account. Loans authorized during the year numbered 660, involving a total amount of £85,042, as follows : —
Lands proclaimed. The lands set apart for selection by discharged soldiers during the year totalled 1,235 acres, making a grand total of 1,454,064 acres proclaimed since the inception of the scheme.
