REPORTS. No. 93.—Petition of Harry John Dunn, of Hokitika. Praying for inquiry into committal of his children to the care of the Child Welfare Department, and for the restoration of his children to him. I am directed to report that, in view of the changed conditions which have arisen since the petition was presented, and after full inquiry into all the circumstances, the Committee has no recommendation to make. 27th August, 1930.

No. 47. —Petition of Alexander Murray Cowan, of Ramarama. Praying for an allowance or pension for services rendered as a school-teacher at Niue. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 27th August, 1930.

No. 96. —Petition of J. Connor, of Cambridge. Praying for payment of salary in lieu of leave of absence on resigning from the Education Department. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 27th August, 1930.

No. 110. —Petition of Sarah Archey, of St. Albans, Christchurch. Praying that she be granted superannuation allowance by payment of fifteen months' contributions, being the difference between her retirement from the Education Department and the age necessary for receiving a pension. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 11th September, 1930.

No. 8. —Petition of Joseph McLauchlan, of Clayburn Road, Glen Eden, Auckland. Praying for superannuation as an ex school-teacher. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should be referred to the Government for most favourable consideration. 11th September, 1930.

No. 140. —Petition of Arthur Hunnibell, of 115 Opawa Road, Christchurch. Praying for the right to become a contributor to the Teachers' Superannuation Fund. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee, in view of the Government's expressed intention to investigate the condition of the Public Service Superannuation Fund, the petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 29th September, 1930.

No. 165.—Petition of V. J. Gamble, of Christchurch, and 9 Others. Praying that they be allowed to join the Teachers' Superannuation Fund.
