No. 27. —Petition of Frank Reed, of Auckland. Praying for increase in his superannuation allowance. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should be referred to the Government for most favourable consideration, with a recommendation that the petitioner receive superannuation on the highest scale for the full term of service, as though his compulsory retirement by the Public Service Commissioner had not taken place.
