No. 142. —Petition of S. J. Tisdall and 238 Others, of Rotorua and Taupo. Praying that the regulations prohibiting night fishing in the Rotorua and Taupo areas be abolished. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration, with a suggestion that the hours for restriction of night fishing be from 12 p.m. until 4 a.m. 21st September, 1927.
