FIRE BRIGADES OF THE DOMINION (REPORT ON THE) FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30th JUNE, 1922, BY THE INSPECTOR OF FIRE BRIGADES.

The Inspector of Fire Brigades to the Hon. the Minister of Internal Affairs. Sir, — Office of the Inspector of Fire Brigades, Wellington, 12th October, 1922. Herewith I have the honour to lay before you my fourteenth annual report for the year ended 30th June, 1922, relative to the working of the .Fire Brigades Act, and including matter in connection t herewith. During the year the Woolston Borough became incorporated with the City of Ohristohurch, automatically ceasing to exist as an independent fire district on the Ist April last. The Borough of Foxton was proclaimed a fire district on the Ist May, 1922. Following is a list of the thirty-five constituted fire districts :— Auckland Greymouth Milton Taumarunui Balclutha Hamilton Napier Tauranga .
