The position of the orders in respect of registration is shown by the following summary as at the end of 1915 :—

A complete list of societies and branches on the register as at the end of 1915 is given in Appendix I. Rules. The rules of 36 societies and branches came under revision in one form or another for amendment during 1915. Complete amendments were registered during the year, viz. :— M.U.1.0.0.F. —Hawke's Bay District; Lyttelton District; Napara (Otago District) ; Southland District. 1.0.0.F.—1.0.0.F. of New Zealand ; Pioneer of Southland. A.O.F.—Ashburton and Queen of the Isles (Canterbury United District). U.A.O.D.—Grand Lodge of the North Island of New Zealand. I.F.S.—Kaitangata Employees' Benefit Society. W.M.C.—Wellington Working-men's Club ; South Wairarapa Working-men's Club. Partial Amendments of Rules registered. Partial amendments for the following were made :— M.U.1.0.0.F. —General Cameron (Nelson District); Give (Hawke's Bay District); Motue'ka District; Wanganui District; North Canterbury District; City of Norwich (Lyttelton District); Makikihi (South Canterbury District); Otago District. A.O.F.—Auckland District (2) ; Canterbury United District (2); Court City of Auckland. U.A.O.D. —Grand Lodge of Canterbury District. 1.0. R- —New Zealand District; New Zealand Central District. S. and D. T.—National Division of New Zealand. I.F.S.- —Grey Valley Accident Relief Fund ; Denniston Collieries Medical and Accident Relief Association ; Nightcaps Collieries Medical Sick and Accident Relief Association ; Otago Daily Times Mutual Provident Society ; Palmorston North United Friendly Societies' Dispensary ; Millerton Colliery Medical and Accident Relief Association. W.M.C.—Blenheim Working-men's Club ; Napier Working-men's Club. S.A.S.- —New Brighton Co-operative Money Club. Some of the above amendments relate to the conditions brought about by the war, and have taken the form of -— (1.) Exempting members on active service from, the payment of contributions. (2.) Establishment of district or society Sick Funds for the pooling of the lodges' war sick liabilities. (3.) Withholding sick-pay while members absent from New Zealand on active service.
