Hospital and Charitable Aid. The levy made on the Town Account by the Waikato Hospital and Charitable Aid Board for year ended 31st March, 1915, amounted to £250 2s. 5d., which was met by a rate of id. per pound struck on the capital value. Progress of the Town. The unsettled condition'of the money-market consequent on the war is reflected in the lull in building operations this year as compared with last year. There were only twenty-six permits issued for new buildings and alterations to existing ones, the total value of buildings affected being £5,835. The total capital value of the town is £503,002. Wm.
