John Gillespie, constable, stationed at Temuka, was further examined. Thomas Frederick Hammond, constable, stationed at Bingsland, was sworn, and gave evidence Patrick James Fitzgerald, constable, stationed at Lyttelton, was sworn, and gave evidence.
