Work done during year : Fences renewed, hedges trimmed, and noxious weeds eradicated. Improvements now on domain : Fences, hedges, buildings, plantations, cycle-track, swings, seats, and water-supply. Used for bowls, cricket, tennis, picnics, sports, cycling, and races. Work done during year : Thirteen chains fences erected, 6 acres partly cleared of scrub, timber logged up and burnt, and a portion stumped and sown down in grass, but, owing to the dry season, this will probably have to be resown. Used for cricket and football. Ranfurly Domain. Sections Nos. 1 to 15, Block XIII, Town of Ranfurly. Area, 10 acres 2 roods 36 perches. No improvements effected. It is proposed to fence the domain during the ensuing year. Ranfurly Park Domain. Suburban Sections Nos. 7 and 8, Block I, Town of Ranfurly. Area, 52 acres and 31 perches. Work done during year: Fence erected, drain cut, and fence removed to give stock access to river. Improvements now on domain: Fences, drain, and plantation. Leased. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Erecting fences and planting trees. Tokomairiro Domain. Parts of Sections Nos. 103 and 104, Block XII, Tokomairiro Survey District. Area, 59 acres 2 roods 30 perches. Work done during year : Unsightly trees removed, a large portion of the area laid off and planted, footpaths formed, swimming-pond constructed, planted portions surrounded by wirenetting, and llower-beds and pots stocked. Improvements now on domain : Fences, plantations, pavilion, drains, ponds, and paths. I'sed for football and cricket. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Planting shrubs and flowers, attending to plots, completing swimming-pond, and general maintenance.
