This district is bounded towards the north by the Wakatipu Electoral District from Section No. 798, Hokonui Survey District, to the western boundary of Glenkenich Survey District ; thence towards the east by the Clutha Electoral District to the sea, at the mouth of the Mataura River ; thence towards the south by the sea to a point in line with the western boundary-line of Block XXIII, Invercargill Hundred ; thence towards the west by a right line to the said western boundaryline of Block XXIII, by that boundary-line, and the road forming the western boundary of Block VII, and that road continued northward to the Mabel Bush Road in Section No. 2, Block XI, Invercargill Hundred; thence by the Mabel Bush Road to the north-western boundary of the said Block XI; thence by Blocks XI, XII, and XVIII, Invercargil! Hundred, to the Makarewa River ; thence by that river to the northwestern corner of Section No. 190, Forest Hill Hundred; thence by a line running due east for a distance of 174 chains ; thence by a line running due north for a distance of 200 chains ; thence by a line bearing north 45" east to the eastern boundaryline of Forest Hill Hundred; thence by Forest Hill Hundred to Lora Stream; thence by Lora Stream to Section No. 798

This district is bounded towards the north-east generally by the Wakatipu Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the sea at Bligh Sound to Section No. 449, Hokonui Survey District; thence by the Mataura Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the intersection of the northern boundary of Forest Hill Hundred by Lora Stream : thence towards the south by the northern boundary-line of Forest Hill Hundred, the northern boundary-line of Winton Hundred, and the northern boundary-line of Oreti Hundred to the road which forms the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 53, Oreti Hundred ; thence by Section No. 63 and the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 53, and that road continued through Section No. 62 of the said Oreti Hundred to the road which forms the western boundary of the said Section No. 62 ; thence by the eastern side of that road to Section No. 108 : thence again towards the south by the said Section No. 108 and Sections Nos. 107 and 44 to the north-western corner of the lastmentioned section: thence again towards the east by the said Section No. 44 and Sections Nos. 43, 80, BG, 89, 90, 91, 94, 183, and 182, all of the said Oreti Hundred, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section : thence again towards the south by the New River Hundred to the Waimatuku Stream : thence again towards the east by the left bank of that stream to the ocean : and thence again towards the south and towards the west by the ocean to Bligh Sound aforesaid, at the Wakatipu Electoral District aforesaid ; including Centre Island, Pig Island, Resolution Island, and adjacent islands. Invekoargill. This district is bounded towards the north generally by the Waihopai River from the New River Estuary to the northernmost corner of the Borough of Gladstone ; thence by part of the eastern boundary and by the northern boundary of that borough to the north-western corner of the Borough of North Invercargill; and thence by the northern boundary of the said Borough of North Invercargill to its north-eastern corner ; thence towards the east generally by the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the Borough of North Invercargill to the north-eastern corner of the Borough of East Invercargill; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Borough of East Invercargill to its south-western corner ; thence by the eastern boundary of the Borough of Invorcargill to the north-western corner of the Borough of South Invercargill; and thence by the northern and eastern boundaries of the said Borough of South Invercargill to its south-eastern corner ; thence towards the south-west generally by the south-western boundary of the said Borough of South Invercargill to New River Estuary ; and thence towards the west by the New River Estuary to the place of commencement. Awabua. This district is bounded towards the west and north by the Wallace Electoral District, hereinbefore described ; towards the east generally by the Mataura Electoral District, hereinbefore described ; and towards the south-west by Foveaux Strait to the Wallace Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement; exclusive of the Invercargill Electoral District, hereinbefore described, and including Stewart Island, Ruapuke Island, Dog Island, and all adjacent islands.
