The Hon. J. Carroll to Captain Seddon. (Telegram.) Captain Seddon, Wellington. Auckland, 11th June, 1906. To-day the colony and the nation mourn the loss of a great man, who has employed his great talent and ability in tne work of moulding the destiny of his adopted country — a work that will for ever be a monument to his memory.
