No. 98, 1902.—Petitition of Katea te Putu and 18 Others. Petitioners oppose any reopening of the case in connection with the Matamata Block. lam directed to report that the matter referred to is now -before the Native Land Court. The Committee has no recommendation to make. 24th July, 1903.

No. 74, 1902. —Petition of Rakeiamoa te Manu. Petitioner prays for inquiry into succession to the late Tuterakenga Rangiheihei and Ruta Kapuarangi, deceased owners in Mataikahawai, Te Waiotama, and other blocks. I am directed to report that, as there is still a remedy open to the petitioners under section 39 of " The Native Land Court Act, 1894," the Committee has no recommendation to make. 24th July., 1903.

No. 72, 1902.—Petition of Nepe Patehau and 40 Others. (No. 1.) Petitioners pray for inclusion in the certificate of title to the Matamata Block, near Te Aroha. They allege that the persons already in the same are merely there as trustees. I am directed to report that, as the matter referred to is now before the Native Land Court, the Committee has no recommendation to make. 24th July, 1903. —
