NEWSPAPER ADVERTISEMENTS AND PRINTING (AMOUNTS PAID FOR) DURING THE YEAR ENDING 31st MARCH, 1903.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 24th July, 1903. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing (1) the amounts paid to each newspaper in the colony for Government advertisements for the year ended the 31st March, 1903; (2) the amounts similarly paid for Government printing, stating to whom paid ; and (3) the amounts expended for advertising New Zealand scenery (a) in the colony, and (b) outside the colony, stating to whom the same have been paid."—(Mr. Massey.)
