Regular instruction is given by Dr. Mackenzie and the Matron to the nurses. I noticed three very good wheeled chairs, one of them specially for fracture cases. They were imported from America at a cost of £8 and £9.

The water-supply has not yet been provided, although this was promised to me before the plans were approved. It is well managed, and evidently great interest is taken in it by the people of the district. Good roads have been made, and planting has been done, so that the beauty of the situation will soon have its full effect. D. MacGbegor, M.A., M.8., Inspector-General of Hospitals and Charitable Institutions.
