The large ward is airy, but very plain ; it might be relieved by a little colour. A new operatingroom, with tiled floor and well-cemented walls, has been added. A very kindly atmosphere pervades the whole place.

Dr. Moore has been appointed Medical Officer. The site for the new Hospital is a good one, on a slight rise near the town. The timber was lying on the ground, but the erection of the building had not started.
