With the exception of Hunter's, o:ama ; Carmichael's, Waimea (now worked by E. and P. Radford) ; Wairio, Wairio, Nightcaps (worked by A. Mcßride); and Orepuki, Orepuki (M. Straw, Manager for New Zealand Coal and Oil Syndicate, Limited), whioh were returned last year as not at work, have been transferred to pits at work; and, with the addition of the pits above, under head of " Pits not now at work," the pits not now at work are the same as last year.
