"FISHERIES ENCOURAGEMENT ACT, 1885" (BONUSES PAID UNDER) UNTIL 31st MARCH, 1900.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 20th July, 1900. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing—(l) The amount of bonus paid in eaoh year under ' The Fisheries Encouragement Aot, 1885,' on the amount of canned and cured fish exported from the colony from the passing of the Act until the 31st Maroh, 1900 ; (2) the total of all suoh payments; and (3) the total amount of suoh payments in eaoh provincial district."—(Mr. Tanneb.)
