Also, that a statement of transfers so made shall be laid before Parliament at the next session. 3. That every account against the Government shall, before it is sent to the Auditor, be certified by the British Resident, or by persons appointed for each department or service by the Chief of the Government with the approval of the British Resident; such certificate shall state that the services therein named have been properly performed, or that the articles charged have been duly supplied, and that the prices are fair and reasonable. 4. That the various sums in Schedule B of this Act which have been paid under the authority of Act 4, 1892 (unauthorised expenditure) shall be charged to the purposes named in the said Schedule, to the amount of one hundred and twenty pounds. 5. That no money shall be paid except on cheques signed by the Paymaster and countersigned by the Auditor. Dated at Rarotonga, this 10th day of August, 1895. Approved. To go into operation forthwith.
