OFFICERS IN THE RAILWAY DEPARTMENT (RETURN RELATIVE TO).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 23rd September, 1892. Ordered, "That the Railway Commissioners furnish a return to the House, showing: (1) The names of all officers and persons in the employ of the Railway Commissioners whose salaries amount to £200 and upwards ; (2) the amount of salary received by each such officer; (3) the amount per diem that each such officer receives whilst travelling in the service of the Railway Commissioners; (4) the amount of travelling-allowance received during each financial year by such officer since the Railway Commissioners were appointed; (5) the return to show the amount of salary which each such officer was receiving when the Railway Commissioners took office, and the amount now being received."—(Mr. Guinness.)
