This district is bounded towards tho north-west generally by Manukau Entrance, Manukau Harbour, and by the Manukau Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the north generally by the Hauraki Gulf; towards the south-east generally by the south-western boundary-lines of the Papepape and Kiripaki Blocks ; thence by the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 46, Parish of Maraetai ; thence by the south-western boundary-line of that section to Section No. 72 of the said parish ; thence by the south-eastern boun-dary-line of the said Section No. 72 and the south-eastern boundary-linos of Sections Nos. 71, 64,61, and 63, the crossing of a road, and the south-eastern boundary-lines of Sections Nos, 68 and 66 of the said parish to Section No. 47 ; thence by Sections Nos. 48, 57, and 77, and Sections Nos. 20, 41, and 27 of Wairoa Parish to the westernmost corner of the lastmentioned section; thence by Sections Nos. 58 and 65, Papakura Parish, to tho road intersecting tho said Section No. 65; thence by that road and the road intersecting Sections Nos. 62 and 37 and by the road which forms the north-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 36, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, and 12, all of Papakura Parish, to the Great South Road near Manurewa Railway-station; thenco towards tho east generally by the eastern side of the Great South Road to the road which forms tho north-western boundary of Allotment No. 13 of the Town of Papakura; thence by tho south-eastern side of that road and its continuation to the road which' forms the south-western boundary of Allotment No. 12 of the said Town of Papakura; thence by the north side of the last-mentioned road to the road which forms the western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 2, 1, 18, 17, 16, 15, and 14 of Section No. 6, Town of Papakura, and by the eastern side of that road to Pahurehure Estuary ; thence by the eastern shores of that estuary and the right bank of the Hingaia Creek and the right bank of Slippery Creek to the Great South Road; thence by tho said Great South Road to the southern boundary-line of Section No. 51, Parish of Opaheko ; thenco by the southern boundary-lino of that section to the southwestern boundary-line of Section No. 1, Parish of Maungatawhiri; thence by that section and Sections Nos. 2, 3, 4, and 6, tho crossing of a road, Sections Nos. 29 and 30, the crossing of a road, and Sections Nos. 38, 41, and 40, the crossing of a road, and Section No. 10, the crossing of a road, Sections Nos. 67, 66, and 65, and the western boundary-line of tho last-mentioned section produced to the left bank of the Waikato River ; towards the south and again towards the south-east generally by the left bank of the said Waikato River to the ocean; and towards the west by the ocean to Manukau Entrance, the place of commencement: including the islands of Waiheke, Motutapu, Ponui, Rakino, Rangitoto, and adjacent islands, and islands in Manukau Harbour. Waipa. This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by the Franklin Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Waikato River to the Hauraki Gulf; towards the north by the said Hauraki Gulf; towards the east by the Frith of Thames to Pukorokoro ; thence towards the south-east by the high road and telegraph-line from Pukorokoro to Mercer to the Maramarua Stream; thence by that stream to its confluence with the Waikato River; thenco again towards the east and towards the north-east by the said Waikato River to the Waikato confiscation boundary line; thence again towards the south-east by that boundary-line to the Puniu River; thence again towards the east generally by the said Puniu River to its source near Ranginui Trig. Station; thence by a right line to the said trig, station ; thence by a right line to the source of the Mokau River; thence towards the south generally by the said Mokau River to its intersection by the parallel of 38° 30' south, latitude; and thence by the said parallel of 38° 30' to the ocean ; and towards the west by the ocean to the place of commencement. Waikato. This district is bounded towards the north-west by the Waipa Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the confluence of the Maramarua Stream with the Waikato River to the Frith of Thames ; towards the north by the said Frith of Thames to the mouth of the Thames River; thence towards the north-east by the right bank of the said Thames River to a point due west of Te Aroha Trig. Station ; thence again towards the north by a right line to the said trig, station ; thence by a right line in the direction of the mouth of the Waihi River on the east coast as far as the summit of

the range forming the western boundary of the Tauranga confiscated district; thence again towards the north-east by lines from hill to hill along the summit of the said range to the Whakamarama No. 2 Block ; thenco by that block, the Mangatotara Blocks Nos. la, 1, and 3 to Weraiti Trig. Station ; thence by a right line to Puwhenua Trig. Station ; thence towards the south-east by a right line to Uraura Trig. Station; thence again towards the north-east by a right lino to Paeroa Trig. Station ; thence by a right line to Ahiwhakamura Trig. Station; thence by a right line to Tawhiwau Mountain (Trig. Station No. 76a) ; thence towards the east by a right line drawn in the direction of tho summit of tho Tatarakino Mountain (Trig. Station No. 09) as far as a line drawn between the most northerly point of Waikaremoana and the junction of the Napier-Taupo Road with the Rangitaiki River; thence again towards the south-east by part of the last-mentioned line to the place whero the said Napier-Taupo Road crosses tho Rangitaiki River ; thence by a right line to the eastern boundary-line of the Tauhara South Block at a point where it is crossed by the Taharua River; thence again towards the north-east by the said Taharua River to its confluence with tho Mohaka River ; thence by the said Mohaka River to a line being the production of a right line drawn between Trig. Station No. 65a, Kaweka Survey District, and Trig. Station No. 68a ; thence by a right line to the said Trig. Station No. 65a ; thence towards the south by a right line to Trig. Station No. 26, Tawheketewhango; thence by a right line to Trig. Station No. 27; thence by a right line to Trig. Station No. 28, Kaimanawa Survey District; thenco by a right line to the summit of Iluapohu Mountain ; thence towards the west by lines from peak to peak to the summit of Tongariro Mountain; thence towards the south-west by a right line to the eastern corner of the Kirikau Block ; thenco by the north-eastern boundary-lines of that block to the Wanganui River ; thence again towards the north-west generally by the said Wanganui River to the confluence of the Ongaruhe River with that river ; thence by the said Ongaruhe River to its intersection by tho boundary-line between the Land Districts of Auckland and Taranaki at a point about 10£ miles south of the source of the Mokau River; thence by the said boundarylino to the source of the said Mokau River; and thence again towards the west generally by the Waipa Electoral District aforesaid to the place of commencement. Thames. This district is bounded towards the north and north-east by the ocean ; towards the south-west by a right line drawn in a north-westerly direction from the north head of Tairua Harbour in the direction of the source of the Waikawau River, as far as the Waiwawa River; thence towards the south-east generally by the said Waiwawa River and its tributary the Taitoko Stream to the source of the latter ; i thence by the Waiwhakaurunga and Mangarehu Blocks (timber leases of 14,186 acres and 1,825 acres respectively) to the Mangakirikiri No. 1 Block (No. 3387 a) ; thence by that block to its southernmost corner ; thence by the summit of the range leading to the northern boundary-line of Section No. 2, Block V., Thames Survey District; thenco by the said Section No. 2, the Karaka South No. 1 Block (No. 2597), and the loft bank of Karaka Creek to the eastern boundary-line of tho Town of Shortland ; thence by the eastern boundary-lines of the said Town of Shortland to Sealey Street; thence by the south side of the said Sealey Street to Sandes Street; thence by tho east side of the said Sandes Street to Hape Creek; thence by the said Hape Creek to a point in tho middle of Rolleston Street; thence again towards the north-east by a line being the production of a lino drawn along the middle of the said Rolleston Street to the middle of Grey Street, in the said Town of Shortland ; thence again towards the south-east by a line along the middle of the said Grey Street to Hape Creek ; aud thence across that creek ; and towards the east by the said Hape Creek to its confluence with the Kauaeranga River ; thence towards the south by a right line due west 80 chains ; thence again towards tho south-west by a right line to a point 11681§ links distant from Trig. Station F, Thames Survey District, on a bearing of 282° 36' 31" ; thence again towards the north by a line due east to Rocky Point; and thence towards the west generally by tho Frith of Thames : including Great Mercury, Cuvier, and adjacent islands. Bay of Plenty. This district is bounded towards the north-oast and northwest by the ocean from the north head of Tairua Harbour to Cape Kunaway ; thence towards the east by a right lino to the summit of Mount Hikurangi; thence towards the southeast by right lines from hill to hill along the summit of the watershed between the Bay of Plenty and the east coast to Trig. Station No. 139 a; thence by a right line over Trig. Station No. 140 to the Motu River; thence by the right bank of the said Motu River to the north-western boundarylino of the Motu Block ; thence by that block to its western-
