REMOVALS IN POLICE FORCE (RETURN OF) DURING THREE YEARS ENDING 31st DECEMBER, 1890.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 30th January, 1891. Ordered, " That a return bo laid before this House giving in detail the names of all members of the Police Force who have been removed from one district to another during the throe years ending tho 31st December, 1890 ; thereason for such removal, with the entire cost of such to the State ; the number of members of families of such policemen that were left in the district from which the parents were removed ; and the loss that had to be incurred by the sale or other disposition of the property held at the time of those who were so arbitrarily removed."—(Mr. J.
