The nursing is most efficient and careful. The Hospital itself is badly planned, and placed at an inconvenient distance from the town. The large male ward is divided into two by a partition, one end being occupied by the hospital patients proper, while the other is set apart for refuge cases. This has the effect of apparently reducing the daily cost per head, owing to the increased number of inmates and the increased length of average stay.
