LOCAL OPTION POLLS AND LICENSING ELECTIONS (RETURN OF NUMBER OF VOTES POLLED AT).

Return to an Order of tlie House of Representatives dated 16th July, 1889. Ordered, "That there bo laid on the table of the House a return showing the number of votes polled at the last local-option polls, and at the licensing elections throughout the colony, as also the number of voters on the rolls for the various districts, specifying in either case each district separately ; also the number of Committees appointed by the Government through no election taking place, also specifying the name of each district." —(Mr. Fish.)
