With reference to your Despatch, No. 35, of the* 21st of May, and to previous correspondence relative to the efforts of various persons at Timaru to save life from drowning, I have the honour to transmit to you, for the information of your Government, a copy of a further letter which has been received from the Eoyal Humane Society on the subject.
