RETURN OF LAND TAKEN UNDER "THE NEW ZEALAND SETTLEMENTS ACT, 1863."

[Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 17th August, 1865.] That there be kid upon the Table of this House—" A Return showing the Position and Acreage of all Blocks of Land proclaimed or taken from Rebel Native Tribes under " The New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863," with the Amount and value in Land or Money of all Grants by way of Compensation in each case ; and the Acreage and Value of Land reserved or granted for purposes of Settlement, sold, or handed over to the Provincial Governments.
