My Loed Duke, — Adverting to my despatch No. 9, of the 6th inst., in which I forwarded copies of circular ..etters in "which the most violent language had been used, which letters had been given tip to the Government by the chiefs to whom they had been addressed, I have now the honor to forward the copy of another letter of the same character from the Taranaki District, which has been given up by some of the chiefs of Tauranga. The determined language of this letter will show your Grace what violent feelings of hostility some of the chiefs still entertain against the British Government. I have, &c, G. Grey.
