Mr A. J. Mackie, Auckland, is a visitor to Hamilton. Mr B. V. Burkett, Melbourne, is visiting Hamilton. Mr A. Coleman, Auckland, is visiting Hamilton. Mr F. W. Swainbume, Auckland, is a visitor to Hamilton. Mr H. L. Anderson, Auckland, is visiting Hamilton. Mr Alexander C. Owen has been appointed Electricity Controller in place of Mr F. T. M. Kissell, under the Electrical Emergency Regulations, according to a Gazette notice. Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., of Hamilton, has been appointed chairman of a commission of inquiry under the Rotorua Borough Act, 1922, to inquire into and report as to the amourt to be paid to the Crown by the Rotorua Borough Council in respect of the vesting in the corporation of certain drainage and waterworks, as to the mode and terms of such payment, and the charges to be made by the council for water supplied to the Crown for the Government sanatorium and bathhouses, and to any Government offices or buildings in or near Rotorua.
