SEPARATE WAIKATO BODY A notice constituting the Northland, Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty provincial patriotic districts appears in the Gazette, and is effective as from September 30, 1944. The Waikato district comprises the counties of Raglan, Waikato, Piako, Waipa, Otorohanga, Kawhia and Waitomo; the boroughs of Hamilton, Ngaruawahia, Cambridge, Huntly, Morrinsville, Te Aroha and Te Kuiti and the town districts of Te Kauwhata, Leamington, Ohaupo, Kihikihi, Otorohanga and Kawhia. Matamata County, Matamata borough and Putaruru town district are included in the Bay of Plenty district.
