COOLER TEMPERATURES The Meteorological Office, Wellington, issues the following forecast for the period noon today to 5 p.m. tomorrow:—General situation: A second t-ough is passing this afternoon. An anticyclone is approaching from the western Tasman. Forecast: iVesh south-westerly winds, decreasing; scattered showers, at first but weather clearing tonight; temperatures cooler. Further outlook: Fair tc fine.
