REORGANISATION QUESTION (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday In a message to the New Zealand Fire Boards’ Association, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, referred to the proposals made by the Government for the standardisation of training and equipment of brigades and arrangements for cooperation at large fires. These were not a definite scheme of reorganisation, but a statement of principles on which it was considered a scheme should be framed. The Minister said the fire board system was over-ripe for review.
