PEACE CUP CONTEST HAMILTON v. MORRINSVILLE Memories of exciting struggles of past years are being revived with the prospect of Morrinsville making a strong bid to lift the Peace Cup from Hamilton in a representative Rugby match at Rugby Park. Hamilton, tomorrow. If Hamilton is successful it will halt a succession of results in which honours have gone to Morrinsville. Twelve years ago when Hamilton last held the cup it retained it for only one week before Morrinsville secured it. Included in the Morrinsville team are L. T. Russell. D. S. Ensor, and the two Leesons. whose numerous appearances for Waikato have assisted them to gain popularity with the Hamilton crowd. In an elimination match a fortnight ago Morrinsville beat Matamata by 16 to 8 and last week beat Hauraki Plains in a friendly game by 3to 0. Morrinsville is the holder of the Finlay Cup.
