“MAN AND HIS WORLD”
NO BRITISH CONTROVERSY The Vicar of Cambridge, the Rev. Canon C. W. Chandler, recently cabled to the publishers of Dr. Ma:nwaring’s book “Man and his World.” In the cable he mentioned widespread controversy in New Zealand, and said he was curious to know whether controversy also existed in Great Britain. The vicar also inquired if the book were used extensively in English schools. The following reply was received yesterday: “ ‘Man and his World’ selling well here. No knowledge of any controversy in England or elsewhere.”
