SENIOR APPOINTMENTS (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday Chang-es in two senior posts at Army Headquarters are announced by the .Minister or Derence, the Hon. F. Jones. Brigadier 11. E. Avery, C.8.E., C.M.G., D. 5.0.. who is being seconded to act as chairman of the War assets Realisation Board, has been Quartermaster-General and a member or the Army Board since October. 1040. Brigadier N. McD. Weir, C.8.E., who recently returned irom the Middle East, has been'appointed Quartermaster-General and third military member or the Army Board.
Brigadier L. G. Goss, who has been serving In the Pacific, will nil the post or deputy-Cbler or the General Stair, which has been vacant since the return or Brigadier W. G. Gentry, D. 5.0., 0.8. E., to the Middle East.
