MATAMATA JERSEY CLUB SALE With prices up to TTgns realised, the 15th annual bull sale or the Matamata Jersey Club held at the Matamata saleyards yesterday was one or the most successful yet held by the club. There was a large attendance and competition was animated throughout the auction of entries. Top entries made Trom 60 to ?7gns, and from •15 to 57*gns was given for other good sorts, only three entries were passed in at auction. An average or :i7]gns was obtained Tor the S 7 entries sold. The sale was conducted by the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, with Mr f. M. Darkness in the rostrum. The top price or 7 7giis was obtained for I the three-year-old bull Marshlands Flirt’s i >on. sold <m account of Mr w. J. Chynoi woth. or Walton, to Mr Martellette. \ two-year-old. Neathorleigh Merry Bov, ; offered on account or Mr !•’. c. Richmond, i Matamata, was Knocked down at 7 igns to I Mr A. C. I.anglands. Mr w. c. Meats, or ! Ngarua, was the successful bidder at 7 1 gns on another entry from Mr Chevno- ! weth, a 1 wo-year-old. Marshlands Baron Bold.
