Mrs H. Absolum, Hamilton, is spending a holiday at Gisborne. Mrs J. G. Barry, Inglewood, is visiting Hamilton. Mrs Harold Baker, Hamilton, is visiting Auckland. Mrs T. Montgomery, North Canterbury, is spending the week-end in Hamilton. Mr<s ,T. Mahaffie, Hamilton, is visiting Wellington for the 67th territorial congress of the Salvation Army. The Board of Directors of the Y.W.C.A. are enquiring into the question of the reported lack of suitable accommodation for women and girls in Hamilton who are in need of permanent residence. If such is found to be the case the Board feels it is necessary for the Y.W.C.A. to establish a hostel here and those women who are finding it difficult to procure suitable residence are asked to get in touch with the Y.W.C.A. secretary.
