MARRIED WOMAN FINED (By TelearaptL—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Wednesday Pleading guilty to a charge of laying tote odds, a married won:an Sarah Ellen Joan Stanley, aged 42, was fined £lO by Mr F. H. Levien, S.M. today. The police said she was detected on the hill at Eller? lie on Monday taking bets at half a crown and five shillings.
