ANOTHER MATINEE MEETING At the annual meeting of the Waikato Trotting Owners. Breeders and Trainers’ Association, the president, Mr R. Chileott, presided over a good attendance, and considerable interest was shown In the afTairs of the organisation. The review or the past year's operations, was approved and the balance-sheet adopted. The finances were shown to be in a healthy condition. It was decided to hold the annual matinee trotting meeting at Claudelands on Saturday, January 29, with a programme of six ie vents. , The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President. Mr R. Chileott: patron. Mr E. H. Cueksey (Te awii mutu); vice-presidents, Messrs A. W. Ebbett. T. H. Melrose and E. Vernal!; treasurer, Mr A. W. Ebbett; secretary. Mr C. Moran; committee, Messrs E. Breed, N. Vernall. W. Wheeler. W. Olliver, R. Dunn. R. Lowe, A. McMillan, A. Twidle, J. E. Smith. J. R. Henderson. A. McGregor. N. H. Hooker. G. Mitchell, R. Laird, F. White, and A. E. Elliot.
