CONFERENCE NEXT MONTH WANGANUI, Thursday . Approximately 70 delegates will attend the New Zealand Libraries’ Association conference to be held in Wanganui from February 15.t0 February 18. The gathering will be officially opened with a civic reception in the City Council chambers on the night of February 15. The Minister of Education, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, will attend the opening. A noted visitor at the gathering will be Miss Mary Parsons, from the United States, who has recently arrived in this country to establish a library of information. The annual meeting of the association will be held on the Friday.
