STATE THEATRE “Play Girl” is an appealing romantic drama, with Kay Fraijcis and James Ellison in the chief romantic roles and Nigel Bruce and Mildred Coles prominent in support. “Swing it, Soldier, ’is a gay story of radio funsters, with plenty of tuneful music and merry comedy. Ken Murray and Frances Langford head the cast. No fewer than ten song hits are introduced. CIVIC THEATRE “Snow White and the Seven Dwarrs,” Walt Disney’s line production, continues to draw large audiences, it is a delightful fantasy, and the fact that it is in technicolour adds to its spectacular elTect, while the tuneful songs introduced are a pleasing feature. Snow White is an appealing heroine, and the Seven Dwarfs, especially little Dopey, prove as popular as ever with adults as well as children. ROXY THEATRE “Bad Men of Arizona” brings back realistically the old lawless days on the border, with Richard Dix, Kent Taylor and Edgar Buchanan heading the cast. “Wings and the Woman” tells the life story of Amy Johnson and James Mollison and shows how a great romance was wrecked.
