SECOND PARTY LEAVES The Hamilton railway station was thronged with children shortly alter nine o’clock this morning prior to the departure 'for Port Waikato of the second contingent to be the guests of the Waikato Children’s Camp League this summer. The party, which included children from outlying districts such as Tauwhare and Ngahinapouri as well as from Hamilton itself, aggregated about 150. Mr T. C. Heard, Physical Welfare Officer, was assisting with the general details connected with the transport of the large body of children. On arrival at Taukau the children were to transfer to buses for the remainder of the journey to the camp All arrangements had been made for their holiday and an enjoyable fortnight seemed assured. The first party of children, which had been at the camp since December 28 and had spent an enjoyable fortnight in ideal surroundings and under weather conditions that were favourable nearly all the time, left Port Waikato this morning. They travelled by bus to Taukau where they caught the Auckland-Taneatua express to their homes. Arrangements were made for the party to leave the train at Frankton on it v arrival at 12.5 p.m.)
